A rare and exceptional piece from John Galliano’s iconic Gaucho collection for Christian Dior, 2005–2006. This large tote version is crafted in genuine python skin with crocodile leather trims — one of the rarest material combinations from this collection.
Features include the signature Gaucho buckle detail with engraved “Dior” plaque, the iconic key charm and Christian Dior coin medallion, a front saddle-shaped flap with small buckle pocket, double crocodile leather shoulder straps, top zip closure, and a black leather interior with the authentic Christian Dior Paris label.
Condition: Good vintage condition. Shows signs of wear consistent with age and use — light patina on straps and exterior, structure is fully intact. The Gaucho’s naturally distressed aesthetic makes this part of the design DNA.
